My husband will be obtaining a DAS due to recent leg surgery, he won't be able to stand long periods of time, we are a group of 15, will the pass cover all in our party? Leaving in 13 days, getting very excited!!

    Hi Cathy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I can hear the excitement in your question!

The Disability Access Service (DAS) can be a great accommodation for guests who cannot tolerate long wait times in line. When you arrive at your first theme park, stop by Guest Relations and a cast member will determine if it is appropriate for your husband. When we have used this service in the past, it has accommodated all four of us including the person with the service (my husband). Given the size of your party, I suggest that you speak with a cast member in Guest Relations to see what options you might have. The good news is that you can use the Disability Access Service along with Fast Pass+!

It might also be useful for your husband to review the Wheelchair Rentals and ECV Rentals. My husband normally walks through the parks but on one visit, we had to rent an electric conveyance vehicle (ECV) at Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot. It made those park days much better for him. I also suggest that you review the Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities. In addition, the Services for Guests with Disabilities information includes special Park Guides that give helpful notes about accessibility in the parks and resorts.

Cathy, you can also contact someone directly in Disability Services at 407-560-2547 or by email at disability.services@disneyparks.com. I trust that a cast member will help you find the best plan to accommodate your husband!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
