Hi! My husband, myself and 3 kids ages 4,6, and 9 will be visiting Disneyland resort feb 3-7. I was just wondering if you know if small world an daunted mansion will be reopened by then from removing the holiday decor? My girls love small world!

    Hi, Jennifer!

I’m so happy to hear you’re planning a vacation to the Disneyland Resort, and February is a wonderful month to visit. Crowds tend to be lighter, hotel prices are generally lower, and the Southern California weather is typically mild that time of year.

My 3-year-old son also is also a big fan of “it’s a small world,” so it’s a must-do on our visits to The Happiest Place on Earth! Although the official attraction closure and refurbishment schedule for February is not yet available, “it’s a small world” and Haunted Mansion are typically closed until late January for removal of the holiday overlay, but there is a good chance that they may be open again by the time you visit in February. Attraction closures are always subject to change, however, so it’s best to check the attractions list on Disneyland.com as your visit approaches.

I hope this helps, Jennifer, and that your family enjoys a wonderful vacation! Please write back with more questions as your pixie-dusted planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
