My husband and I got married last June, but were unable to take our honeymoon just after the wedding. We were offered this trip as a gift from my husband's parents, are we rediculus if we want to have an all out honeymoon like we just got married?

You'd be ridiculous if you didn't have an all-out honeymoon. You should absolutely have the trip of your dreams.

I happened to be very ill during my honeymoon, so hubby and I didn't exactly have the best time on our trip to Bermuda. A year later we went to WDW - our first real vacation together.  We stayed at the Grand Floridian, had fine dining, and lounged by the pool. It was my de facto honeymoon and I loved it. Whatever the circumstances were that prevented you and your Prince Charming from traveling as new-newlyweds, you don't have to let that stop you from properly celebrating now. Book that honeymoon suite. Drink that champagne. Enjoy your special time together.

Oh, and thank your in-laws too ;-)
