My husband, my 3 kids (ages 6, 9 & 11) and myself will be visiting WDW for a week and are feeling a little overwhelmed with options and hoping we can get some direction to what type of passes we should get? Want to see a lot with energetic kids. thanks

Thank you for your question, and I hope I can help to relieve some of the pressure you are feeling with what type of Theme Park Tickets to purchase. Since you have energetic kids and would like to see a lot, I think a ticket that allows you the most options to go-go-go would be a good match. For example, if you are staying 7 nights with an early arrival and late departure, you might want an 8 day pass to allow you to visit the parks everyday, even if just for part of a day.

My family likes the Park Hopper Option because we enjoy moving around within all of the Walt Disney World resort and like the change of pace within the day. In fact, we often start at one park, take a mid-afternoon break, then return to another park (or resort near that park) for dinner and an evening at that park. However, some guests like to keep it simple and stay in one park all day. If that sounds more like your family, you may want to skip this add-on cost. You can add it on to your tickets upon your arrival if you feel you'd like it once you spend a day or two at the parks.

Finally, another option is the Water Park Fun & More Option which will provide you with a certain number of visits based on the days in your ticket (for example, a 4 day tickets gives you 4 visits) to the water parks, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and the miniature golf courses. I would play with the numbers to see if this investment would be worthwhile. If you want to visit only a water park, it may be more beneficial to pay that admission separately rather than adding this to your tickets.

I like the online page for theme park tickets (link provided above) because it lets you play with adding and deleting different options to see the price differences, too. If you have more questions, please let us know.
