My husband is handicapped and we are a number of 9. We are undecided if we should go with the treehouse villa or 2 bedroom and studio. How many bus stops are in the tree house area? I'm wondering if the treehouse would not be big enough for the family.

    Hi Jocelyn,

The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are lovely, secluded, and unique!

As to which configuration of villas you should book, that is a tough question for a party of nine guests. The treehouse villas can sleep nine people. They have two queen-size beds, bunk beds, one queen-size sleeper sofa, one sleeper chair, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen in about 1080 square feet. If you booked a two-bedroom villa and a studio, you would have the ability to sleep up to 12 guests - eight in the two-bedroom villa and four in the deluxe studio. The breakdown would be in the two-bedroom villa one king-size bed, two queen-size beds, one queen-size sleeper sofa or one king-size bed, one queen-size bed, one queen-size sleeper sofa, and one double-size sleeper sofa. There would be two bathrooms and a full kitchen, and the square footage is about 1080 square feet as well - so a two-bedroom villa is just about the same square footage as a treehouse villa. The deluxe studio would give you approximately an additional 355 square feet of space, along with one queen-size bed, one double-size sleeper, a bathroom and a kitchenette. A final option for you would be a three-bedroom grand villa. These can sleep up to 12 guests, and include one king-size bed, four queen-size beds, one queen-size sleeper sofa, four bathrooms, and a full kitchen in about 2110 square feet of space.

In the Treehouse Villa area, there are two bus stops. If you decide to go with a Treehouse Villa, do be sure to indicate if you need a handicap accessible villa. The treehouse villas are elevated off of the ground, and most have stairs to get up to them. The handicap accessible treehouses have ramps.

I hope that this information is helpful for you in making your decision, Jocelyn. I think that which of these configurations you choose to book will depend on the combination of guests traveling with you. Please let us know if you have any further questions!
