    Stephanie from CO Asked

My husband and I want to go have drinks and food at Trader Sams. We are not staying at a Disneyland hotel. Can we just walk up and still go to the restaurant? How would it work?

Hey there, Stephanie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

I truly believe that everyone should enjoy Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Resort at least once. It has such a fun and unique atmosphere that you aren’t likely to experience many other places. All Guests, whether they are staying at the Disneyland Hotel or not, are welcome to pull up a chair, indulge in a crafty and curious cocktail, and have an adventurous bite to eat. There are a few things to know about visiting this zany bar, however. Reservations are not accepted and seating inside Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is extremely limited. Feel free to walk in and scope out the seating situation and be ready to grab a seat as soon as someone has finished their drinks/meal.

If all the tables and bar stools are occupied, you can order the same drinks and food from the tables outside on the patio. While you will miss out on the antics happening inside the bar, the patio is still a pretty relaxing and comfortable place to enjoy your libations. The bar and patio open at 11:30 a.m. and close at 1:30 a.m., so if you have some time to kill, definitely be patient and try to wait for a table inside. If you are feeling bold, try one of the amazing signature cocktails with a souvenir glass. They will package up the glass for you so it will travel safely home to Colorado.

I hope this helps. Have a fabulous time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
