My husband and I are getting ready to head to Disneyland for the first time the week after Thanksgiving, being it's our first time how many days is a good amount to spend there?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!

I’m so excited that you will be enjoying the Disneyland Resort in just a few weeks! The Holidays are a magnificent time to visit with all the festive décor, seasonal overlays on select attractions, Holiday entertainment, and of course lots of delicious goodies. I typically recommend that people visit for at least three days. This will allow you to explore both theme parks, have time to shop and dine in the Downtown Disney District, and perhaps discover extra magic at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels.

Additionally, when you purchase your three-day or longer ticket in advance, you will have access to one Magic Morning at Disneyland Park. Magic Morning allows you to enter the park one hour prior to the official opening time on select days. This early hour is essential to seeing and doing most of the items on your to-do list. Be sure to check the schedule to see when Magic Morning takes place during your visit.

Finally, to make the most efficient use of your time, download and familiarize yourself with the Disneyland app. It will show you current attraction wait times, FASTPASS return times currently being distributed, where and when to meet your favorite characters, and so much more. To really maximize your time, consider adding Disney MaxPass to your theme park tickets so you can make FASTPASS selections on the Disneyland app from anywhere in the parks. It is an incredible time-saver!

If you need any more information about your upcoming adventure, please don’t hesitate to stop by again!
