My husband, four year old, and I are headed to WDW in November. We have gone WAY over our budget this year and have splurged on a room at the Grand Floridian. We've had a rough year this year. Is it rude to ask for an upgraded room at check in??

Hi, Melanie!   Hopefully you will forget your worries as soon as you arrive in WDW!  The Grand Floridian is certainly the place to relax and rejuvenate!

You can certainly ask for an upgrade, but they really don't happen often.   You will find that resorts are booked to capacity on a regular basis making upgrades rare.   However, you never know when some pixie dust will come your way, so feel free to give it a try!

Have a great vacation and good luck to you and your family.
