Me and my husband are going on our first trip at the end of June, my question is, when we use fastpass+ to get on a ride do we both scan our bands or just one of us and it works for both us?

    Hello, Marley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question. We are here to help with all the pixie-dusted details.

When redeeming your FastPass+ option at your selected attraction, you'll both need to scan your MagicBands at the "Mickey Head" Touch Point to confirm your FastPass+ reservation - all guests scan their individual MagicBands to gain entry into the theme parks and FastPass+ queues. However, when paying for meals, or purchasing merchandise, one MagicBand may be used.

Also, make sure you have both theme park tickets linked to your My Disney Experience Account and that each guests ticket is correctly assigned to them. This is the first step in making sure you are able to select FastPass+ reservations for you both.

I hope this helps, Marley! Please let me know if any last minute questions should come up before your magical vacation. It's almost here! I've also included a great Moms Panel video detailing Walt Disney World® Resort's FastPass+ service. Just select the highlighted link to check it out!

    Happy 1st Visit!
