My husband and I are going on our first Disney trip and I do not know where to begin. Overwhelmed with excitement here, do you have any suggestions?

    Hi Bryan,

A first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting, and I can understand your feeling of being overwhelmed. One thing that I always advise when it comes to first trips is to pick a few "must-do's" and then let the rest of the magic just fall into place. That said, here are my top suggestions to make your stay manageable and magical:

Stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel:
Guests staying at on-site Resort Hotels can take advantage of complimentary Resort Transportation to and from the Theme Parks and Disney Springs. Guests of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels can also enjoy the perk of Extra Magic Hours. Each day select Theme Parks are open longer with extra hours added either in the morning or evening. Another bonus...you never leave the magic!

Purchase a Park Hopper Option Ticket:
A Park Hopper Option Ticket will allow you to come and go as you please throughout the Theme Parks. You can start your day at one Theme Park, head back to your Resort for a nap or pool time, and then end the day at any other Park that you wish to.

Make FastPass+ Reservations for your "Must-Do" Attractions:
Guests staying on-site can reserve FastPass+ Experiences 60 days in advance of their Resort check-in date.

    Make Advanced Dining Reservations:
There are so many wonderful places to dine at the Walt Disney World Resort! Choose them ahead of time (especially Character Dining Experiences) and make your Reservations as far in advance as possible. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel can book reservations 180 in advance of their Resort stay.

I hope this information helps. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
