My husband and I are FINALLY taking our 3 kids-14yrs, 12yrs and 7 yrs- to Disney in 3 weeks! We are staying at a timeshare. What is the best ticket option to purchase? We will be there from Saturday to Saturday.

Hi Jane - first you should determine exactly how many days you'll want to spend at Walt Disney World.  That will really depend on what you are planning to do each day, if you want to do other things in Orlando, and if you plan to spend any time just hanging around your resort.  Each day you add to your ticket is incrementally less expensive, so you may want to overestimate rather than underestimate.

Next, decide if you'll want to visit the water parks or Disney Quest.  Given the ages of your children, you probably will.  In that case, add on the Water Parks and more option.

Then, you can decide if you want a base ticket or a park hopper.  I always prefer the park hopper, because we typically visit one park in the mornings and another one in the afternoon.  The park hopper option is a flat fee, regardless of the number of days on your ticket.

Finally, you can decide if you want the no expiration option on your tickets.  My family doesn't usually choose this option, because we only buy the number of days that we need.  But, if you choose to buy more days than you need, it may be worth it.

    I hope that helps!
