Hi there, My husband and I are so excited to be planning a trip in July for his 40th and our son's 1st birthday---on the same day! We just are not sure which would be the best with our little one along, the Disney cruise, or Walt Disney World Resort.

    Hi Kate,

How sweet that your husband and son share a birthday - that is certainly a day worth celebrating somewhere really special!

I'll be totally honest and tell you that I have found the Disney Cruise experience to be one of the easiest vacations you can take with a little one.  Imagine all of the magic, wonder, fun and excitement of Walt Disney World - but without having to navigate transportation schedules, fight crowds and make dining reservations.  What I love about cruising is having all of the fun your toddler can tolerate - with the quiet comfort of your stateroom just moments away.  No worries about getting on the right bus, or dreading a 45 minute commute back to your room when a meltdown is eminent.  Add to that the incredible value of having fresh, prepared food available to you at all times - and someone to make and turn-down your beds each day and it's a mother's paradise!

It's also worth considering that the warm ocean breezes may be a wonderful alternative to the hot and muggy weather that July typically brings in Orlando.

    Good luck with your decision!
