My husband and I enjoy quality sit down dinning but we have three kids, 6, 3, and 10 months. Can you recommend a few places to eat for dinner that might entertain the kids but still be a more upscale dinning experience.

Children of any age are welcome to dine at all but one restaurant at Walt Disney World. (The romantic Victoria and Alberts has a minimum age of 10.) However, while children are welcome at the restaurants, there are some meals that adults might find luxurious (Jiko, Artist Point) but kids might find, well, boring. It's difficult to find a balance, but it can be done.

Here are some of my favorite places that make both kids and adults happy (all have children's menus):

    - Coral Reef at Epcot. A seafood based menu, with a nice selection of steak and chicken as well. The big draw here is the aquarium. An entire wall of the restaurant is the side of the Living Seas aquarium. While you're dining, you can watch the incredible array of marine life swim by, and maybe even a diver too.

    - Teppan Edo at Epcot. At this hibachi-style Japanese restaurant, the chefs cook your food right on your table. The food is some of the tastiest at Walt Disney World and kids love watching the chef's antics.

    - San Angel Inn at Epcot. Authentic Mexican (mmmm, guacamole!) in a marketplace environment. The Gran Fiesta boat ride runs through the restaurant and there is a vibrant marketplace next door. Lots for kids to look at.

    - Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is one of Disney's few signature dining restaurants that is actually in a theme park. Gourmet dishes, but since all the guests are touring the parks, there are more kids and a bit more tolerance for activity.

    - Yak & Yeti at the Animal Kingdom. A lovey selection of Asian food with lots of interesting textures and art to engage the children.

    - Ohana at the Polynesian. Grilled meats served family style.

Each of these restaurants is great for the entire family.
