My husband has to use a electric scooter to walk long distances & to stand for long periods of time. So we are renting a scooter. My questions is how will he get through the ride lines. This is our first trip to Disney World.

    Hello, Julie!

Congratulations on your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I am happy to provide some information to help you and your husband have a magical vacation. Since most of the attraction queues are ECV friendly, your husband should have no issues using his scooter right up to the loading area. Although Cast Members are not permitted to assist Guests in loading or unloading vehicles, they will move ECVs to the end of the ride for you. You will find other attractions allow Guests to experience the rides from their ECV.  For example, the Jungle Cruise offers accessible boats where your husband can drive his ECV right on the boat, and remain there throughout the cruise. To help you plan your theme park adventures, keep in mind that attractions are divided into five Attractions Access Categories
         ~ May Remain in Wheelchair/ECV
         ~ Must Be Ambulatory
         ~ Must Transfer from Wheelchair/ECV
         ~ Must Transfer to Wheelchair
~ Must Transfer to Wheelchair, Then to Ride Vehicle

I hope this helps, and you make many unforgettable memories during your trip. Please visit us again should you have other questions as you prepare for your first visit.

    Happy Planning!
