    Tara Asked

My husband doesn't like fireworks, but my daughter really wants to see them. Is there a place in Magic Kingdom that is far enough away or indoors that he won't be able to hear the fireworks?

Hi, Tara!  I may have a solution that works for all of you!  If you head over to the Contemporary Resort before the fireworks begin, you'll find an observation deck on the fourth floor.  Your husband can wait inside the resort while you and your daughter go out to the deck, or he may be able to join you - at least for the beginning - to see if he's far enough away from the fireworks so that he's comfortable.

Another great spot is on the beach at the Polynesian resort.  Again, your husband can stay inside the resort and browse the shops or grab a drink, and your daughter can join you on the beach to watch the show.

Another thing that may work for you and allow you to stay inside the Magic Kingdom is for you to head down to the entrance to Main Street - almost where you came in when you arrived.  You and your daughter can watch the fireworks from Main Street, and your husband can stay under the train station, or even go inside one of the Main Street shops.  I can't tell you how many times I browsed the Emporium on Main Street with a scared child while my husband watched the fireworks with the other girls on Main Street.

    I hope this helps!
