My husband & I have been to Disney in 2000. We are planning a trip back with our daughters next yr. One will be 5yrs old and the other will be about 2 1/2. Are we crazy for going with a 2 1/2 yr old? Is there much for her to do @ ea park?

    Hey Jocelyn,

Thanks so much for coming to see us today!  I am a big believer in Walt Disney World being fun for children of all ages (and that includes adults, too).  We started bringing our children to Walt Disney World at just five and six months old.  On our last vacation, they were (almost) four and two.  There are only a handful of attractions with height restrictions, so there's no need to worry about having enough for your little one to experience!

At Magic Kingdom Park, you'll find lots of classic attractions, perfect for any child.  Ours loved it's a small world. and Jungle Cruise the best.  At Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, make sure to take time to visit The Boneyard.  It's a great place for kids to run, climb, dig and get lots of energy out!  It's a great break from standing in lines and sitting on attractions.  At Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, check out the Disney Junior-Live on Stage! show.  Epcot is home to The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

My biggest piece of advice is to try and keep to your children's routines.  If your 2 1/2 year old still naps, make sure to take time out for naps each afternoon.  Your older child can enjoy the pool at your resort (and you may even find they want a nap, too!).  Also, be sure to pack snacks for your days at the parks.  I brought some of my toddler's favorite snacks from home and packed them in our park bag so we could curb and hunger meltdowns before they start.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, Jocelyn.  I'd be happy to help you plan your most magical vacation ever!
