My husband and I will be in Disney in April celebrating our 18th wedding annv. What type of magical experiences gifts could i do? and how is the weather in APril?

    Hi Dawna,

    Happy anniversary!

Let me answer the second part of your question first. The average daytime high in April is in the low 80s and the average nighttime low is in the low 60s. There is usually very little rain. Of course, there may be variability this year, but in general April is the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World from a weather perspective.

As for special experiences, your first stop should be They have many wonderful gift baskets, some designed specially for romance, with wine, flowers and more. You'll also want to get a free Anniversary button when you get to the parks. This will tell cast members and other guests that you're celebrating something special.

If you're looking for a romantic activity, you may want to consider:

    - Taking a backstage tour
    - Renting a surrey bike together
    - Taking a horse drawn carriage ride
    - Getting a couples massage
    - Going parasailing together
    - Booking a meal at the super posh (and delicious) Victoria & Alberts
    - Renting a boat for a fireworks cruise

And so much more. Please write back and let me know if you'd like specific details on any of these items.
