My husband get a discount on tickets through his job. On the website they have standard tickets and e-tickets; the e-tickets are cheaper. How does the e-tickets work if I purchase them? How would I get my magicbands and make fastpass selections? Thanks.

    Hi Christy!

Electronic tickets are a great way to save money on your Walt Disney World vacation by having your tickets emailed to you rather than mailing a hard ticket to you or picking them up at Will Call.  If you choose the e-ticket option, you will have a confirmation number that you can link to your My Disney Experience account either online or through the My Disney Experience mobile app.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you will receive complimentary MagicBands for you and your family who are listed on the reservation.  Once you have your resort room or vacation package booked, you can click on the 'MagicBands and Cards' link in your My Disney Experience account to choose the color and name for each MagicBand.

If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, MagicBands are available for purchase throughout each park, Resort and even Disney Springs.

Once you have valid theme park tickets linked to your account, you will be able to choose your FastPass+ attractions.  Guests staying on property can make selections up to 60 days in advance, while guests staying off property can make selections up to 30 days in advance.

    Have a magical day!
