My Husband and I are going on a Cruise next month and I’m considering booking a placeholder , if I decide to do this will I have to specify the Names or how many people will be in our stateroom at the time? With my daughter being in College she might notgo

    Ahoy, Karen!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a DREAMy vacation you have to look forward to next month with your husband. Don't you love all the adult-only offerings available aboard Disney Cruise Line? I have a few of my favorites, which includes dining at Palo at least once, lounging by the Quiet Cove Pool during the day and visiting the nightclubs and lounges in the evenings. On our last two sailings, my husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed the games shows and the silent discos (so much fun!) in the nightclubs. We love that there is always something to do or not do while onboard with Disney Cruise Line!

Karen, your question made me smile because my favorite tip to give when vacationing with Disney Cruise Line is to book another cruise before you disembark. It's never easy to leave a Disney ship, so having another vacation to look forward to is the best way to deal with your cruise coming to an end. Disney Cruise Line makes it very easy to do with its placeholder policy. You will want to include all the names of the Guests that might accompany you on this vacation when you book your placeholder. Staterooms do not all sleep the same number of Guests, so you want to make sure all Guests are accounted for on your reservation. Also, if you end of booking a specific sailing, pricing might be higher for any additional Guest as the cruise grows closer. If you need to take your daughter off the reservation or change the name, you can do so without penalty before the final payment is due. I highly recommend stopping by the Disney Vacation Planning Desk early on in your sailing as the line tends to get long as the cruise progresses. You can even join a virtual queue on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app that will save you time as you wait.

Thank you for visiting us, Karen! We hope you'll come back to "sea" us again real soon.
