My husband and I are considering DVC. One reason is that we want to take both our families when we take our child for the first time. Can I reserve 3 1 BRs or even Studios on our points, 1 for us, 1 for my family, and one for his? Thanks for your help!

    Hi Karen,

When my husband and I were looking into purchasing our Disney Vacation Club membership, we wanted to make sure we would be able to include our extended family on a vacation. We have done this many times and it has been a lot of fun.

As long as you have the points, you can book your room, your room, your family's room and your husband's family room for your trip. They will all be your guests and have the same benefits at the resort as you do. I will tell you it could be more points than if you booked a larger accommodation for the entire family.

I book my family in one space because we like sharing stories of the day and eating breakfast together. Plus since my parents live out of state, it allows extra time to reconnect. However, remember to build some separate time in and have a family meeting about what you expect as far as touring together and meals.

    Wishing you a magical day!
