My husband and I are coming to WDW next week, and are spending 3 full days in the parks. we have 2 boys, 2 & 4. I would like to spend 2 full days in the Magic Kingdom, and 1/2 day at Animal Kingdom & Epcot. Does this sound like a good plan?

    Hi Katie!

You are just days away from your magical trip, how exciting! I think you're on the right track here. I should tell you that both Animal Kingdom and Epcot are very big and require lots of walking, but if you plan on dividing your day in half, say Animal Kingdom first followed by Epcot, it is a great way to sample the parts of each park that you're looking forward to experiencing. My family would usually take a rest mid-day and then hop over to Epcot for some dining, a few attractions that are must-do's for our boys, and Illuminations in the evening. You may not get around to doing everything in each of the parks if you are not there the entire day, though. It's my opinion that, especially when visiting with young children, it's alright to "do less" and experience more by enjoying the parks at the pace that is just right for your family. Wishing you a magical vacation!
