    Tracy from Cornwall Asked

My Husband and I are coming from the UK,we are staying at the Port Orleans French Quarter resort and I was wondering if the laundry machines take coins. Secondly we have quick service dining plan, can yo tell me what constitutes as a snack in WDW

Hi Tracy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The laundry machines at the Walt Disney World were upgraded about a year ago and are now very hi-tech offering live reporting of availability via the internet, where you can view the status of each machine as well as receiving notifications of availability and when a cycle is completed. You can view the machine status at http://www.laundryview.com/disneyworld. I can also tell you that all locations including Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter now accept credit and debit cards in place of coins.

The 2016 Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan brochure is a fantastic resource which includes lots of really useful information about how your dining plan will work.

Snack entitlements can be used for allsorts of different things including:-

    • Frozen Ice Cream Novelty, Popsicle or Fruit Bar
    • Popcorn Scoop (single-serving box)
    • 12 oz. Coffee, Hot Chocolate or Hot Tea
    • Single-serving Prepackaged Milk or Juice
    • Single Piece of Whole Fruit
    • Single-serving Bag of Snacks
    • 20 oz. Bottle of Coca-Cola®, Sprite® or 20 oz. Dasani® Water
    • 20 oz. Fountain Soft Drink

The unofficial website The Mouse For Less has a great list of available snacks which you can find by searching for:- http://www.themouseforless.com/walt-disney-world/dining/snacks/.

If I can be of any further assistance with the planning of your trip, please feel free to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel website again to ask me another question.

Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
