    Heather from KS Asked

Can my husband and I each choose different tier 1 fast passes and then rider swap? Or do we both need the same fast pass to rider swap? For instance. Seven Dwarf Mine Train, would we both need a FP+ in order to use rider switch? We have a 1 year old.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather! A trip with your little one and your husband sounds truly magical. You should think about getting Memory Maker for your upcoming vacation so you can have unlimited downloads of all the pictures the Disney PhotoPass photographers take of the three of you at the Most Magical Place On Earth. My family loves that we all get to be in the photos together and no one is left out because they're the one taking the picture!

Rider Switch is going to be a great way for you and your husband to still get to ride all of your favorite attractions that your little one isn't quite ready for yet. The service has recently gone digital, which means it's integrated with your MagicBand and your Rider Switch entitlements appear in your My Disney Experience app, making it all super easy and convenient to use. Since the system has been upgraded, Cast Members can check that all riders have a FastPass+ for the attraction, so if your husband wants to enter Seven Dwarfs Mine Train through the FastPass+ queue while you stay behind with the baby, you will both need to have a valid FastPass+ when you tap your MagicBand to add the Rider Switch entitlement. If the first riding party chooses to use the standby queue, the group with the Rider Switch entitlement will still be able to bypass that line and use the FastPass+ queue to enter.

    Have a magical day, Heather!
