my husband is a chef, anything you can suggest that might spark an interest with him?

The most relevant thing for any foodie would be the Food & Wine Festival held each autumn at Epcot. This even is more than a month long and includes cooking demonstrations, tastings, bottle signings, book signings, Disney chefs, celebrity chefs, and host of other events. If you can plan to visit in October next year, your husband will have many food and cooking related events to choose from.

If your schedule necessitates a different travel time, you do have other options. One extraordinary experience would be to reserve the Chef's Table in the kitchen at Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian. Here, your husband would be able to discuss the food and preparation choices with the chefs at this magnificent meal.

You could also dine at the California Grill. The open kitchen arrangement there allows you to see into the chefs' work area.

Your husband might be interested in the Behind the Seeds tour at the Land pavilion at Epcot. I have taken this tour three times and been fascinated with each trip. Guests here are allowed to go backstage at the hydroponic gardens at Epcot and learn about new food cultivation and gardening methods. You can make reservations for this by calling 407-WDW-TOUR.

And a classic foodie experience would be to plan your own "around the world" experience at Epcot. Choose a food-related focus (beer, wine, chocolate, etc.) and go to each of the countries in Epcot with the goal of comparing/contrasting the offerings in each.

    Have a great trip!
