Hi there my husband and I are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary in Disneyland. What special things are there to do?

    Hello Marcy,

Let me start off by saying, Happy Anniversary! Now I think the Disneyland Resort is one of the most romantic places you can visit!

Enjoying some of the classics, where it makes you feel like a kid again, always makes the sparkle come out. Head over to Walt’s classics like King Arthur Carrousel and be a kid again with your spouse. Then enjoy Autopia- where you might find the others driving skills quite silly. Storybook Land Canal Boats (I think) encompasses romance, you can snuggle next to your loved one, listen to the Cast Member describe the the fairy tale scenes and gaze at all the tiny villages so beautifully imaginEARed.

For me, it’s the little things that are romantic. So heading over to New Orleans Square for fresh Mickey beignets and hot chocolate sounds like the perfect mid-afternoon break. There's even a cartoon sketch artist over in New Orleans Square that can draw a 'couple's picture' of you two-which would make a fantastic souvenir.

My two favorite restaurants happen to be the most charming and intimate which are perfect for a romantic meal- Carthay Circle Restaurant and the Napa Rose. At Carthay Circle Restaurant, this is a must-see and their menu is exquisite, you will want to try their Rose Petal Soda or the Carthay Club Mojito, these being a tribute to the "Golden Age" of Hollywood. Napa Rose is known for fine dining and gorgeous ambiance - I highly recommend this.

Now if you can be over at Disney California Adventure Park just before dusk, head to Cars Land because every evening the neon lights turn on down Route 66 in a special type of way. After that, head down to Flo’s to enjoy the music and ambiance.

I hope this helps and that you have a pixie-dusted visit. I'm limited on space, if you have any more questions, please visit me here and let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    Wishing you magic!
