My husband is celebrating his birthday in Disneyworld this July and it has always been his dream to be the "Grand Marshall" of the Main Street Parade. Any suggestions???

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Mary ~

I can't think of a better place to celebrate your husband's birthday than Disney World. Be sure to pick up your "Happy Birthday" button for him at your Disney Resort Hotel or any theme park Guest Relations location. You never know what pixie dust will come his way.

Typically, Guests are chosen at random to open parks or be in parades. There are times when they may have a Celebrity VIP in the park that they ask to be the Grand Marshall for the parades but usually its Guests that were lucky enough to be showered in pixie dust.

There really isn't a trick to it but if you want to increase his chances of being selected I would plan to arrive at the park entrance super early. Show your enthusiasm by wearing ears or matching shirts. Smile big and be talkative and friendly to the Cast Members. In other words, draw some attention (in a positive way) to yourself.

If you need some ideas of some special ways to celebrate his birthday, please feel free to visit again.  We're thrilled to help you with all of your planning questions.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for him!!!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
