Mom And Son On Run

My husband and I are bringing our 2 year old to Disney and thinking of staying in a moderate. We noticed there are curtains separating part of the bathroom/closet area from the main room. Is there room for a pack and play in this area?

    Hi Julie,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for another excellent question!

Although we’ve yet to stay in a Moderate Resort Hotel with our son, we have stayed in our favourite one, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, several times with friends who do have toddlers! We saw their setup during one of our trips, and, yes, you can fit a pack and play in the bathroom/closet area, although it is a bit of a tight squeeze.

I do, however, have two caveats for you. First, seeing as your 2-year-old is probably as mobile as mine is, you may have issues with them grabbing things off the closet hangers... or the curtain that separates that area from the main part of the room! Second, if you do want to get up to go to the bathroom during the night, the bathroom can be noisy and it may not be ideal if you don’t have a particularly sound sleeper!

Hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming trip and please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
