    Melisa from FL Asked

My husband and I are bringing our 2 and a half year old in October 2010. I was wondering about the pony rides for tots. I can't find much information on the site as far as cost, days & times, and details on the pony rides. Do you have more information

Hi, Melisa! When my youngest son was 3 years old, he rode a pony at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Fort Wilderness, and we must have taken dozens of pictures! So fun! Pony rides are located at the petting farm between the horse barn and Pioneer Hall. Children must be ages 2-8 and weigh less than 80 pounds. Closed-toe shoes (no sandals) and jeans are recommended. Although schedules are subject to change, pony rides are given daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and cost $3 per ride (at the time of this posting). You can call 407-WDW-PLAY for more information or to make a reservation up to 30 days in advance. We actually walked right up to the stables on a morning after we ate breakfast at Trail's End Restaurant and had no trouble and no wait. Here's hoping you have the same experience! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
