My husband, 2 boys (9 & 4), and I are going to WDW 10/24-10/29 and have pins from our last visit in 2001. Should we bring them to trade? Are they worth "more" since they are older or less (since they are older)? I wasn't sure if we should

    Hi Cindy,

My girls love pin trading at Walt Disney World, they love finding Cast Members (Disney employees) to trade with and they normally choose a theme, such as their favourite character, to collect each year.

As long as the pins that you have are metal and are stamped with the Disney Copyright sign on the back then you'll be able to trade them. Each pin you trade in the parks is done on a pin for pin basis regardless of how much the pin is worth, also a pins age doesn't dictate it's worth rather how rare it is. A good website to help find out if your pin is valuable is also looking on eBay may help too.

There is a great video all about pin trading in our video section on the right hand side of this page which may answer any other questions you have.

Have a fantastic trip and enjoy trading,
