    Lori from CA Asked

My husband and I will be arriving at WDW with our 2 year old son in less than 3 weeks! We want to use the rider swap. Is there a time limit in which you have to use the pass once the first person has ridden? Can we ride later in day or next day?

    HI Lori!  (Great name!!)

As far as I know the rider swap option is for immediate swapping and riding.  We used it when our boys were little and would ride the ride consecutively.  It is a great convenience for parents with small children.

You can always ask the cast members if there are other options, but you will probably just need to ride the ride one after the other.  It would be too confusing to set up other times for parents to come back to ride.

Here is the official word from the Disney World website:

Disney's Rider Swap option is available at select attractions in all 4 Disney Theme Parks at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

Rider Swap is when Guests take turns waiting with youngsters too small to ride a certain attraction, then "swap" with another adult Guest from their party to experience the ride without standing in line twice.

Ask a Cast Member at an attraction for additional information on Rider Swap.

I hope this helps!  Let me know if you have any other questions!
