Huge fan of your panel!!! Thanx for all the help in planing our perfect WDW vacays. Going to the parks at the end of the month and my 11 y/o boy would love to participate as a Jedi in training during SW w/end like other kids he has seen. How can he do it?

    Hi Jania,

Thank you for supporting the Moms Panel! It's our pleasure to help you plan your magical vacation. You all will be visiting during an intergalactic time! Weekend II of Star Wars Weekends will be so exciting for you whole family, but especially your 11 year old Padawan. In order to have him participate in Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will have to sign him up during park opening. Since you will be visiting during Star Wars Weekends, I suggest making your way to sign ups during rope drop. As you enter the park and make your way down Hollywood Blvd, you will see cast members directing you to the sign up area for the academy. While sign-ups are usually at ABC Sound Studio, during Star Wars Weekends there is a special area dedicated to sign-ups behind Echo Lake and next to Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. That's where you'll be directed to.

Also keep in mind that your son will need to be present during registration, so he'll have to stand in line with you. Since he's so excited, that probably won't be an issue, right?

I hope this answered your question, Jania. If you have any more questions before your vacation, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here for you.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
