    Hello All - My hubby and I are taking our 3 kids (8,6,4) on their 1st trip to WDW in May. We are on a VERY tight budget. Can you give me some of the least expensive dining options (lunch/snacks or dinner)?

    Colleen,

    There are a lot of great counter service meals that are easier on the budget than you might think. But make sure you check pricing, some can be expensive. Here are some of my budget-conscious favorites, by park;

    • Magic Kingdom: Casey's or Pinocchio Village Haus
      • On my trips I always feel like I have eaten a lot in general, so often a Casey's hot dog is all I need. If you need a more full menu, Pinocchio is typically the most affordable.
    • Epcot: Boulangerie Patisserie
      • Not only do I like the more affordable sandwiches you can pick up here, but the cozy back nook of the France pavilion is very charming.
    • Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary
      • The commissary has a few good choices, including some internationally inspired foods, and air conditioning!
    • Animal Kingdom: Restaurantosaurus
      • Basic burger menu, but a good savings over other locales.
    I also recommend you check out the full sample menus at AllEars.net, which include prices. This is a great way to both find the most affordable meals, but also make sure that the venues you select are ones that have foods you actually would want to eat.

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
