Hotels on property that have a frozen theme or princess and character theme?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, John! I’m so glad you brought us another question! Staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels is always a treat, and I’d love to help you discover which one is right for you and your family.

Though none of the Disneyland Resort Hotels currently offer a Frozen or Disney Princess theme, there are plenty of wonderful benefits to staying at each of them. Between Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, the Disneyland Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, there’s a little something for everyone when it comes to budget and the overall Guest experience. Let’s start with my favorite choice – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. From the moment you walk through the over-sized stained glass doors into the grand lobby, you’ll be enchanted by the luxurious Craftsman-style and elegance. But perhaps my favorite part of this hotel is the convenient, exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park. I love knowing that a pool break or nap are only just a few steps away! And speaking of Disney Princesses, this hotel is also home to Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose. This one-of-a-kind Character Dining experience is sure to impress your family. From the three-course breakfast to the personal interactions with Disney Princesses, this unique experience is something you'll never forget!

My family also loves staying at the Disneyland Hotel, located at the end of Downtown Disney District, just past the Downtown Disney District Monorail Station. This is the hotel I grew up staying at, so it holds many special memories for my family and I. My children are obsessed with the Monorail waterslides, too! This hotel also offers Character Dining for breakfast or dinner at Goofy’s Kitchen. You can count on the Disneyland Hotel for classic Disney nostalgia, combined with modern sophistication.

Last but not least, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is another wonderful option for your April vacation. Located just down the pathway from the Disneyland Hotel, and across the street from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, this seaside-inspired hotel offers rooftop pools with a waterslide, and Character Dining at Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast or Brunch. Get ready for fun in the sun at this California-cool Resort hotel.

John, have you heard about Extra Magic Hour yet? It’s one of my favorite perks for staying on-property at a Disneyland Resort Hotel! This early-admission option is available to Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests during every day of their hotel stay, and it allows Guests into Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park one hour before the general public (this schedule varies by day).

I hope this helps, John. Please stop by with any additional questions about your upcoming royal adventures. I can’t wait to see ya’ real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 8, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
