    Jennifer from NY Asked

Are any of the hotels at Disney Springs host hotels for the Princess Half in February 2017? If not is there another way to get to the expo and races without renting a car? Thanks!!

    Hi Jennifer!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

For the 2017 Princess Half Marathon weekend, only the Walt Disney World Resorts will be host resorts and have complimentary runDisney bus transportation to and from the race events. There are a few resorts that are in the Disney Springs area;  including Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, Saratoga Springs and Old Key West.

You can call a runDisney travel specialist at 407-939-4786 to get quotes and find out more information.

A select few of the other resorts will sometimes have "runner packages" that include transportation, so you should ask about that if you stay off property.  You can also take a taxi or Uber car to the race events.  I have done this before and it worked fine.  Just be sure to leave extra early and take notice of the road closures and special directions that you'll find in the Official Event Guide for the weekend.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
