Horray! Husband suggested next x-mas in WDW, but I'm worried about crowds! I know this is a busy time regardless, but do you suggest the week before x-mas or between x-mas & new years? I am a planner & want to start making this the BEST trip EVER!

Hi Stacy! How exciting! I can't think of a more magical place to spend Christmas than Walt Disney World! We here at the Moms Panel are planners too; it's never too early to start plotting the best vacation ever! I think you'll encounter less crowds the week before Christmas. The period between Christmas and New Years is a time of peak attendance levels in the Disney parks; sometimes the parks even fill to capacity during this week. While the parks are busy in the week leading up to Christmas, the crowds are not at those peak levels. Also, if you're interested in attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you'd likely have the opportunity the week before Christmas, but it won't be held the week after.

Come visit us at the Moms Panel if you have more questions while you're planning your trip! We'd love to help!
