Hi! How does the "hopper" work - is there free transportation from a parking lot, or are we driving to individual parking lots? Is it unreal to hop to at least 3 parks? Lastly, can you upgrade a 1 day/park pass to a hopper? thank you for any adv

Hi Monica! I'm a big fan of park hopping! When the park I'm visiting gets crowded, I love being able to head to another park. If you drive your own vehicle to the park, you can simply drive to the next park when you're ready to hop. Alternatively, you can use Disney transportation to travel from park to park. For instance, if you're in Magic Kingdom, you could take the monorail to Epcot, and when you're done there, you could take the boat to Hollywood Studios, and then you could take a bus to Animal Kingdom. (If you drove, just be sure to allot time at the end of the day to take Disney transportation back to your original park to pick up your vehicle. You may, however, find it's faster to just drive from park to park instead of waiting for Disney transportation.) You may add the Park Hopper option to any park ticket, including a one-day pass.

It is possible to hop to all 4 parks in one day, but it's not for the faint of heart. On my last visit a couple of months ago, I was excited to be showing Disney World to a friend who had not visited the parks in 30 years, and we did three parks in one day. It was exhausting, but fun. If you're planning to visit 3 parks in one day, you'll definitely want to be at the first park when it opens and have a game plan of the attractions you'll want to visit in each park. You won't be able to do everything in every park, but you can hit the highlights and have a great time.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
