I am hoping to run my first Disney Princess 5K next year. My mom would be coming as my cheerleader, we want to treat ourselves to spending the weekend at the Grand Floridian, do you know if the Monorail runs that early in the morning to Epcot at like 4am?

    Hi Melina,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! I’m absolutely THRILLED to hear that you want to run the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend 5K in 2019. I just came back from this year’s edition and I can promise you that you’re in for an amazing weekend.

Based on my experience last weekend, I can tell you that the Resort Monorail was running to bring runners and spectators to and from Epcot extremely early in the morning for all of the races. If it isn’t running during your stay, don’t worry! There will also be motor coach transportation to and from the races, available for everyone staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

I hope my answer helps you plan your race weekend. Good luck and, most importantly, have fun with your training! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
