We will be hoping to use the DAS for our 6yo ASD kiddo and wondering how it works with the fastpass+ queue. Does the time to come back mean you go to the back of the fastpass+ queue or walk right to the front when your time comes up? He loses it in lines.

    Hi Alison,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to us.

The Disability Access Service works very similar to Fast Pass+. A member of your party will need to approach a cast member at the entrance to an attraction, explain that you have the Disability Access Service and then request a return time for the ride. When we have used this service in the past, we returned and entered through the Fast Pass+ queue and waited in that line.

Since your son may need more specific accommodations, I suggest that you speak with a cast member in Guest Relations when you arrive to your first theme park. She or he may be able to recommend other accommodations that will meet your son's needs. Also, take a minute to review all of the Services for Guests with Disabilities paying particular attention to the Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities. The Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities includes information on break areas that might be helpful!

Alison, I am sending lots of pixie dust your way trusting that your son will get to meet his favorite characters and ride like the wind on his favorite rides!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
