Hoping to attend the "Frozen Ever After Dessert Party" at Epcot in October 2019. I know it says it is supposed to end with the Illuminations show but does anyone know if this dessert party may be extended, just with the new nighttime show?

Hi Stephanie!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I know I for one am very excited to see the new nighttime spectacular at Epcot, Epcot Forever.  While we know that IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth will be ending on September 30, 2019 and Epcot Forever will make its debut on October 1, 2019, there have not been any announcements about the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party being discontinued.  Often schedules for dining events such as dessert parties are not released very far in advance.  I can see the current schedule shows dates available through the end of August.  I would not assume the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be ending after August; I think the schedule for September and beyond simply isn't out yet.  I recall some discussion around this time last year with Guests who were concerned this dessert party was being discontinued because the calendar only showed dates through the end of summer.  Sure enough, a few weeks later the schedule was extended.

While we at the Moms Panel do not have any inside information about the future status of the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party, I do know that this has been a very popular option with guests looking to add a little "something extra" to their magical vacation.  I would expect some type of dessert party to be available this fall along with Epcot Forever. (My guess, and it is only a guess, is the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party will be extended.)

Please visit the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have as you plan your vacation.  We are always happy to help.
