We hope to be in Magic Kingdom for christmas day, we know it is always really busy and don't really want to leave incase we don't get back in for fireworks etc. Would we be able to dine at Chef Mickeys and still be able to go back to MK?

    Hi Lisa,

We were at Walt Disney World during Christmas and New Year this past year, and although we did not go to Magic Kingdom on Christmas Day, were told by Cast Members at Disney's Hollywood Studios that the park had closed as it had reached capacity by mid-morning.

You would not be guaranteed re-entry to Magic Kingdom if you left to eat at Chef Mickey's. As Christmas Day is probably the busiest day of the whole year, I would highly recommend making a dining reservation at a restaurant within the park. If you are looking for a meal which would be similar to a Christmas dinner which we would normally have here in the UK, I would recommend Liberty Tree Tavern.

    Wishing you a magical holiday!
