we are going "home " in january and we will be in the parks for 5 days. when we buy the dining plan is it for 5 days then?? are we on our own for our arrival day??

    Hi Joyce,

I'm definitely not shy in admitting that one of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the food. As a result, it should come as no surprise, that I am also a huge fan of the Disney Dining Plan, and would be thrilled to assist you with this dining plan question.

Joyce, regardless of which of the three Disney Dining Plans you purchase (the Disney Quick-Service Plan, Disney Dining Plan, or Disney Deluxe Dining Plan), your available credits and Resort refillable mug will be available for redemption with a simple tap of your MagicBand starting from the time of check-in at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel up until midnight on your day of check-out.

Each guest in your travel party (age three and older) will receive the allocated number of daily meal credits specific to your chosen plan and two snack credits for each night of your stay. Therefore, if you are staying four nights, you will receive four daily meal and snack credit allocations for each guest in your party. All credits are available and can be redeemed anytime from the time of check-in until midnight on your check-out day; you are not limited to using a specific number of credits each day.

Don't forget that Disney Dining Reservations can be made as early as 180 days prior to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel check-in for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days). Be sure to book early as many of the more popular restaurants can fill quickly.

Should you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan, or if you have a question about any other aspect of your trip planning, please let us know. We are here to help!

    Bon Appétit!
