    Dawn from SC Asked

we will be at hollywood studios on saturday June 18th. we have two boys who want to do the jedi training. How do we get them selected, do you wait in line or is randomly chosen. What are the best chances of getting selected. Is that on that date?

Hi, Dawn! The Jedi Training Academy has gone through several methods of selecting participants.  First, it was random selection from a throng of kids. Then, they changed it to waiting in a line which was so time-consuming.  Now they have system that doesn't eat up all of your valuable time in the park and is much less random.  You will want to arrive at Disney's Hollywood Studios before it  opens. Once the park officially opens, head straight to the Jedi Training Academy stage and ask one of the Cast Members about signing up for one of the shows during the day. Your sons must be with you and be between the ages of four and twelve to sign up to take part in the Jedi Training Academy.  Once you know your showtime, you can go have fun and come back at your assigned time.  Learn more about it here. Have a Magical vacation and may the Force be with you!
