Is Hollywood Studios doing anything for May 4th? "May the 4th be with you"

Hey, Jennifer and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...ok not such a long time ago and definitely not in a galaxy far, far away Disney's Hollywood Studios began celebrating the fan created Star Wars Day on May 4th.

As of right now there has been no announcement regarding festivities for May 4, 2019, but I would expect it to be similar to last year. In 2018, the March of the First Order was especially impressive, specialty merchandise celebrating the day was found at Tatooine Traders and Legends of Hollywood as well as tasty treats including blue and red "lightsaber" churros secured in a paper hilt. Beware at the Kylo Ren meet and greet as he persuades you to join the First Order and fight the Resistance. The stage show Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away brought visits from Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Darth Vader and Stormtroopers, Death Troopers, Rey and BB-8, and more.

Disney Dad Tip 1: The Star Wars Guided Tour is the best way to experience Star Wars at Walt Disney World Resort. A bit of advice. Make sure at lunch that the Stormtroopers know that what you are eating is "not the lunch they are looking for."

Disney Dad Tip 2: Stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for transmissions regarding Star Wars Day 2019 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Jennifer, May the 4th Be With You.
