    Will the Hollywood Studios be celebrating the 30 anniversary all month or just on May 1? Also is there anyway to get merchandise from May 1 later in the month?

    Hello there, Dell! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for reaching out and allowing us to help you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! 

    This is a very exciting year for Disney’s Hollywood Studios! In just a few weeks, this park will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary. On May 1st, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will officially be celebrating its big day and Guests are invited to take part in all the fun!

    Many of the special offerings will actually be available for a bit following May 1st! Exclusive merchandise will be available beginning at 8:00 am on May 1st but will continue to be available for purchase afterward. Guests will also be able to catch the debut of “Wonderful World of Animation”, the all-new nighttime projection show! This extravaganza will showcase some of your favorite scenes from Disney animated films across the years. Be sure to find a spot before the show begins at 9:05 pm! 

    If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll also want to check out this mouth-watering guide to all the fabulous foods you can enjoy as a part of the festivities! This includes a selection of delicious desserts such as Mickey Mouse’s Celebration Cake and Lightsaber Churros. Just looking through those offerings is making my mouth water! Guests are also invited to indulge in special Legacy Offerings at The Hollywood Brown Derby and 50’s Prime Time Cafe. These dishes have been featured throughout the last 30 years and have become iconic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So be prepared to dig in and enjoy decades of delicious recipes!
