How do the holiday events at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party differ from the regular holiday events already offered in the park?

In years past, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes (fireworks) have been exclusive to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party until the parties cease in late December, at which point the parade and fireworks run during regular park hours.  In checking the park calendars for December 2012, I don't see Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade scheduled to take place outside of the parties.  So, as of right now, the only chance to see the Christmas parade and fireworks is during the party.  As with all of Disney's scheduled entertainment, that is subject to change.

In addition, guests of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are treated to complimentary hot chocolate and cookies, special character dance parties, and more opportunities to meet and greet Disney characters.  I hope that helps, Nicholous.
