Hiya I am coming with my 4 year old and 1 year old for our first time in May. I am trying to organise a rough itinerary for our2 week visit. In your opinion is 3 days at magic Kingdom and 1 at epcot, 1 at animal Kingdom and 1 in Hollywood studios enough

    Hi Jonathan,

I love first trips to the Walt Disney World Resorts! I hope you have a very magical time with your family!

You are correct that one day each at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom is enough. As for Epcot, I think you need two days minimum as this is really two parks with one paid admission. It is divided between Future World which is filled with lands to challenge the mind and World Showcase which will open you to 11 different cultures. Guests often avoid this park with young children but I encourage it.

Magic Kingdom can be done in two days easily so the third day is a personal preference. I would recommend not purchasing the Park Hopper option and just experience one park each day.

If I was building the itinerary, it might look like this:

Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom

The goal is to visit Epcot early in the trip and before Magic Kingdom. My children fell in love with Epcot on their first trip when they were two and four.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
