    Hello, Kimberly!

I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit overwhelmed with the Walt Disney World Resort advance planning options. While dining reservations and the FastPass+ service are highly recommended at any time of year, you can still enjoy a bit of spontaneity on your Walt Disney World vacation. You will not need to make reservations for any of the quick service dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort, with the exception of the highly popular Be Our Guest Restaurant. That said, if there are any special dining locations that you have your heart set on experiencing, I strongly recommend checking for an available reservation as soon as you are able. It is very easy to make a dining reservation (and even easier to cancel it, should you change your mind).

Disney's FastPass+ service helps guests save time waiting in line for favorite attractions, and while it is not required that guests arrange FastPass+ to experience any of the attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will find that the FastPass+ queue can be much faster than the standby queue. For this reason, I always make sure to arrange my family's FastPass+ selections in advance of our vacations. If your plans change, you should be able to easily change your FastPass+ attractions or return times right from your smartphone with the free My Disney Experience app.

If you have any additional questions -- or if you would like personalized recommendations for dining or FastPass+ attractions -- please don't hesitate to stop back by the Moms Panel. We are happy to help you plan your magical vacation, Kimberly!
