Hi, Were trying to plan a trip with for our family. We are a family of 5 with 3 young kids under the age of 10. Is there any way we can book a room that shows its only for 4 people? We wanted to stay at the Wilderness Lodge with the bunk beds.

Families of 5 or more have wonderful Walt Disney World Resort options to choose from. Walt Disney World Resorts typically allows a family of 5 to stay in a standard room, if one child is under the age of 3 and is sleeping in a pack n play/crib but you will need to call to book. If your children are older than 3, Disney's Wilderness Lodge wouldn't be able to accommodate your family and so consider the following:
    • Disney's Art of Animations Resort- family suite
    • Disney's All-Star Music Resort- family suite
    • The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort
    • Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa-Treehouse Villas
    • All Deluxe Walt Disney World Resorts, except for Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort, can accommodate a family of five in a standard room
    • Disney's Port Orleans Resort -Riverside- a Murphy Bed room
    • Walt Disney World Vacation Club resort

It's important each family member is included when making a resort reservation. If a family member isn't included, not only will you not receive a MagicBand or tickets for this family member but if participating in a Disney Dining Plan they will be excluded. They, also, wouldn't be eligible for Extra Magic Hours because they aren't considered a Guest staying in a Walt Disney World Resort. And sadly, when making FastPass+selections, those included on the resort reservation can begin 60 days out but the one excluded couldn't until 30 days out and there is no guarantee your selections times would be available to them when the time comes to make their selections. It behooves you to consider the above Walt Disney World Resorts in order to eliminate the problems that will inevitably arise.
