Hi!We're planning on visiting from June 14-21st and was wondering if crowds would be unbearable because of the buy4/3 free plan. Also compared to our last trip Aug13-19 2006 when there was free dining, how would the crowds compare?

    Hi Janine!

It's hard to predict with complete accuracy what the crowds will be like during a given week.  The nice thing about travelling during the summer months, is that Disney generally helps offset the crowds by offering longer hours in the parks, allowing you more time to experience the attractions you like.  The peak summer weeks usually begin in mid-June and run through mid- August.  I have traveled in almost the exact same weeks as those you referenced above, and I found June to be a bit less crowded.  I would expect that both mid-June and mid-August have rather comparable crowds, with summer attendance peaking in July.

My family loves to travel to Disney during the summer.  We think of it as the quintessential summer vacation, and have yet to have less than an amazing time.   Fast passes, extra magic hours and longer operating hours at the parks should help your family experience and see everything in your "recipe" for a wonderful trip.
