Hi! We will be visiting MK for the very first time with our 9 and 6 year old kids in May. We are so excited. My question is, do we have to have a valid park ticket on the day that we choose to do a character dining at an off site hotel like Garden Gro

    Hi there Meredith!

How exciting to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation!  It will be here before you know it. I am happy to report that park admission is not required to dine at Garden Grove, which is located at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. On days that we do not visit the theme parks, I like to book Advanced Dining Reservations at a Disney Resort hotel or the Downtown Disney area since park admission is not required.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have as your vacation approaches. Best wishes for a magical first trip!

    Bon Appétit,
